How to upload pictures from my Sony Cybershot?

Can I upload pictures from my Sony camera software on my computer straight to Facebook?

  • I have a Sony Cybershot DSC-W310 and the software it came with is PMB which i completely do not understand one bit. It says there is an option that i can upload my pictures directly to the internet from this program, and it says i can choose where i want to upload it to in a drop down menu. Well, that menu has nothing for me to choose from, and there is no where to add where i want to upload it to. I want to directly upload it to Facebook from that program, not have to use the regular uploader on the website. So, i was wondering if anyone has any idea what im talking about, anyone that knows about that software, that can help me. I just want to know if this software is capable of doing what i want it to. I know Kodak software does that, so i'm just curious if this does. If not, I'll just keep using the Facebook uploader like i've been doing all along. .... thanks in advance! :)

    So if you are able to copy your pics in that piece of software, I'd recommend a little tool called clickto (Freeware) to upload them fast and directly to your FB-account. That tool expands your copy-paste function and is able to upload pictures to Facebook or Flickr or (...) by doing only 1 click. Workaround: Go to clicktoapp.com download and install clickto. Then you're able to upload content to facebook with 1 click. Next you start your camera-software mark one or different pictures and right-click on the photos you want to upload. Choose copy. Now clickto come up and shows you some little buttons. Press the button Facebook. Clickto now will upload the copied pictures immediately to facebook. Please note: First time you use clickto, you have to logg into FB manually, next time, this will happen automatically. I hope that will help you to get your pictures easily where you want them :) Regards Werner

If you understand how Facebook, the internet, your computer and camera work, you wouldn't be asking this question. The answer is no. Kodak only tags the pictures for uploading. You still have to do it yourself.
