How To Bypass Daily Limit?

How to bypass 30 min video limit on a Nikon s6000?

  • i just bought this Nikon cool pix s6000 camera and i noticed it has a 30 min video recording limit even if u have enough space for a longer video is there a way i can bypass that?

  • Answer:

You haven't done your research have you. The limit is set that way because of sensor heat that can either damage or destroy the sensor and internal parts in the camera. If your heat becomes too high you're going to need another camera because this one will be ruined. If you want to keep buying cameras over and over then by all means. If you don't I'd suggest you follow the above suggestion and do some editing later. When I'm doing video I do 15-second clips and do my editing later.

Just stop the video, then do another. You can stitch them together later in software The reason for the 30 minute limit is the temperature limit on the sensor as they heat up as they are active. This is pretty common on all consumer cameras so unless you buy a multi-thousand dollar video camera, you will still have the same issue. At any rate, you will probably drain the battery after 30 minutes.

No known bypass. Probably someway to hack the firmware if that is something you want to do. They probably put a 30 min limit on to keep the camera from overheating, check your manual.
