-
i have an 8GB SD memory card, that i use in my panasonic lumix FZ35 camera. I have several videos on my camera, and when i try to view them on my computer they dont show up. in the DCIM folder the pictures are there, but no videos. i tried my lap top (windows 7) and my desktop (vista) and its the same. ive tried plugging in the camera, and also inserting the memory card right into the laptop. what am i doing wrong? to view my pics and videos on my camera i go to computer>removable disk>DCIM

Answer:
All of us regulars here use and recommend card readers for upload. If you do this you'll be able to view them on Windows Media Player unless there's a format problem. If there is there are format conversion programs available on the web, many are free.
