What digital camera takes the SD memory card?

SD Memory Card - My holiday snaps gone! heartbroken. Please help!?

  • Ok, so I took around 200-300 photo's on holiday, and on the plane back, i stupidly forgot to put my camera back in its case.. then a drink spilt in my bag. My camera is now being very weird. I saved all of my pics onto the 1gb SD card that I had in my camera. My camera takes pictures when the memory card is not inserted, but when I put the memory card back in, the screen goes blank even though the camera is still on. Also, when i put my SD memory card into my computer, it says i have 15 photos, but when i look at the properties, it says half of the memory card is taken up with pictures - where are they?? I'd appriciate it so much if someone could give me some advice, im devastated!!! THANKS

    PM me and I'll give you a license for recovery software. On the conditiion that you don;'t share it. It's the same recovery software that comes with sandisk memory cards (I have about a dozen cards and don't need a dozen licenses. DO NOT TAKE ANY MORE PICTURES WITH THE CARD IN THE CAMERA OR YOUR CARD WILL BE OVER_WRITTEN AND THE OLD PICTURES IRRETRIVABLY LOST.

I don't know if it could help in this case or not since you didn't actually delete the photo files, but there is a program that will open photo files even after they've been deleted. (apparently when you delete and reformat, the info remains on the disk, and just writes the new info in a layer overtop of the old. In your case, they aren't being seen by your computer, but maybe this program will be able to access them) Sorry I don't know the name of the program, but you may find it by searching the web, then ask their tech support if they think the program can recover your pics.
