What is the best DSLR camera for under $1000 that will shoot videos too?

• I’m looking for a dslr camera that will be able to shot videos to under $1000. I was looking for the best camera for the money and I keep going back to the Canon T1i as being a good deal but I want to ask you guys before I spend all this money and any opinion that I can get. I searched numerous websites and searches and reports and comparatives that I’m now dizzy and confused. I am looking for a non-baised recommendation Is any other camera better at a better price? Do you know of any deals,any websites, for this camera in the next these coming days?

  The T1i is great, but I suggest you to record with it at HD and not Full HD, because at the Full HD there is 20fps which sometimes look choppy. While at HD, it has 30fps which is enough. It's also one of the cheapest DSLRS with recording. And no, no other Canon with recording under 1000$ will come in this year. Next ones will be the 1500D and 550D (most likely). Do you know anyone that has the T1i ? Maybe go to a shop and try it out.
