Help With Cannon Camcorder?

Cannon FS200 problem?

• I purchased a Cannon fs200 camcorder in may and I still have the warrenty and everything, but recently, about 2 weeks ago the sound completely broke, and the buttons that alow me to navigate through the videos were damaged and are difficult to move. The camera cant take audio anymore, and I dont know what caused this. Would this be covered by the warrenty? All help is appreciated, thanks.

  What do you mean by "broke" and "damaged" - both of these suggest that maybe the warranty wouldn't cover it. If they just stopped working mysteriously, the warranty might. Do you mean sound when you push buttons, or the sound when recording, or the sound when playing back the recording? Need to know if it is still recording sound, or whether the speaker on the camera for playback has stopped working. Do the buttons look damaged? probably best to take it back to where you bought it, and ask their opinion on whether it will be covered by warranty or not. Good luck.
