What is a good camera for action shots?

What's a good camera that I can use for moving/action shots? My last camera had too many were blurry!?

  • The last camera I had(I don't remember the model, but it was about $200 a few years ago) had a lot of Blurry pictures when I would shoot something that was moving when it snapped. I know there's is Anti Shake technology. would something like that be what I need? or does anyone recommend a camera that deals with moving objects better? Looking to spend under $300 hopefully.

  • Answer:

When something in motion comes out blurry in a photo, it is because of the shutter speed and is called motion blur. You need to use a faster shutter speed. If the camera has an action or sports mode, this will give you a faster shutter speed so that it will freeze, rather than blur, the movement. Camera shake happens when the camera is moved while the shutter is open. Anti-shake and other image stabilization features help to prevent or reduce camera shake and have nothing to do with motion blur. It is likely that there is nothing wrong with the camera that you have. You just need to learn how to use it properly.
