Is the casio camera compatible with windows movie maker?

How do I get video of my camera to windows movie maker?

  • I have a Kodak Easyshare dx6440 camera. When i go into Windows movie maker and try to import the video I shot off of it, it does not appear. All other pictures are there but no videos. I want to know how to get the video off the camera onto Windows Movie Maker to make a movie but it wont let me. I have also tried copying and pasteing from opening it from outside windows movie make but it wont let me. The video does show up and i can click copy, but it wont let me paste or even drag into Windows Movie maker. I have Windows vista if that helps too.

  • Answer:

Your Kodak videos are incompatible with Windows Movie Maker because they are recorded in the Apple Quicktime (.mov) format. Here is a list of all types of files that Movie Maker supports... Video files: .asf, .avi, .dvr-ms, .m1v, .mp2, .mp2v, .mpe, .mpeg, .mpg, .mpv2, .wm, and .wmv Audio files: .aif, .aifc, .aiff .asf, .au, .mp2, .mp3, .mpa, .snd, .wav, and .wma Picture files: .bmp, .dib, .emf, .gif, .jfif, .jpe, .jpeg, .jpg, .png, .tif, .tiff, and .wmf So, you will need to either convert them or use a different editor (Quicktime Pro, for example).
