What is the cord from the computer to the camera called?

  • Answer:

What you should be using is a USB 2.0 card reader. They cost less than $10 and transfer image files much faster than the USB cords from camera to computer.

It's a USB cord and you have to make sure that you get one with the correct USB end for your camera (midi or mini) so take it and the old cord with you.
