Which cameras take pictures instantly fast?

  • Hi, what kind of cameras take pictures within like 0.1 seconds? I have a camera that takes like 3 seconds to take -.-. I'd like to get something from Canon or something(I LOVE how the Canon pro. cameras look like) that looks like this: http://www.the-cameras.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/06/1307263689-24.jpg. with a big lens thing and everything(: thank you!

    You are talking about shutter lag. All P&S cameras suffer from shutter lag, although some of them are even worse than others. The reason I first changed from P&Ss to DSLRs were the shutter lag and the dreadful low light performance. If you don't want shutter lag, you need to go to a DSLR. However, I very VERY strongly suggest you don't go shopping until you've done a LOT of learning about photography. Use what you have now and work on turning yourself into an educated shopper who will be happy with their purchases in the end, rather than regretting them. Your local library and the whole internet are full of fantastic resources. Good luck on your journey.

Hi there. You actually don't need to get another camera. And besides those Canon SLR's are outrageously expensive. All you need to do is change the shutter speed on your own camera. The manual should show you how to do it :)

Well, if you use the viewfinder (little hole thingy), DSLRs are fairly fast in this regard, but the big lenses are extra. Take a look at entry-lever offerings from, Sony, Pentax, Canon, Olympus and Nikon (and no, it doesn't matter which one you buy, none is superior to the others). Oh, and your link doesn't work.
