How to record high quality videos from my webcam?

How to record good quality audio while shooting videos (for singing).?

  • Hello. i have canon t2i and i recently bought zoom h1 sd studio recorder for better sound... i have korg d888 ... 4 good quality speakers and the microphones akg perception 120 studio....., shure cable mic and akg WMS45 Perception Wireless Mic vocal set. I tried to use them for better sound i mean to record myself singing live (when i sing live with the mics the sound is bright loud and beautiful but when i try to record i dont have the same result) but i was dissapointed by the sound quality result. i saw some videos on youtubbe which have a very good quality sound ... like this. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SYuCEYfe6LM can you help me and advice me how to succeed a quality audio like the video or better with the equipment that i have...? please help me if you know .. i have spent a lot of money to buy the equipment and im really dissapointed. please give me some serious advices. thank u

    Don't record from speakers, record from sources. Plug your studio recorder into the source outputs for your mixer/amps, adjust your levels, and record away. Use a visual cue (that's why movies use "clapboards") to make audio sync easier later on in post. Peace.
