How do I make a camera?

How to make videos HD while using the camera "canon sd780 is"?

  • hey yahoo answers! okay so i got me this camera a while back actually but now im just starting to use it. I make youtube videos and thought that since this one said it could make HD vids that i would give it a try. But its not working out that way. I know it can produce better videos than the ones its giving me because i see video testers on youtube. the problem: When I first upload videos to my computer directly from the camera the quality is amazing. but after i export the movie so i can edit it using windows movie maker the quality so to worsen. After i edit it i have to publish it. and then finally upload it to youtube. I think all the exporting and uploading really decreases the quality of the video. what do i need to do to make the quality better? How do i go about edit, uploading, and i in the right setting on the camera? By the time i upload the video to youtube the quality is shot. Its not even worth it. Can someone help me? Plz! Thanks in advance.

  • Answer:

Step-#1/Read the owner's manual.. Step-#2/The camcoder will have its ASPECT RATIO(or output).. Step-#3/Choose 16:9 as the output file.. Step-#4/Useing a Firewire..upload your file.. === I have 2-camcorders.. My Canon zr800 works great.. ..but my JVC GR-DA30u never really holds the 16:9 aspect ratio..or Output File/ So..I really use that in the 4:3 Output File/ === I always upload the camcorder to a DV-avi File.. Here the Canon zr800 always holds true..while the JVC camcorder needs some help..useing a Video Editor.. === For video files that will by uploaded onto YouTube.. I use a 720p file made useing the Windows[tm]Live Movie Maker..in WIN 7 Home Premium.. Or...in Vista Home Premium and Movie Maker 6..its 720p or DVD(standard)..looking at the Aspect Ratio.. === Check TOOLS..in MM6.. Check...VIEW in WIN LIVE MM/ === Aspect ratio..16:9 or 4:3/ As for file conversion..start with a large file and compress.. Like...DV-avi-->>WMV...(HD).. ..or 1080p-->>720p/ === In DVD-video its DV-avi--->>>mpeg2/called rendering.. Its file conversion(compression..) Start large---convert(compress)...smaller.. === Use your Properties TAB..on the Video File Thumbnail.. Learn the details-TAB.. === Next is BIT-Rate... ..you can compress starting at 27,000 kbps/ ..and wind up with 718 kbps/...thus there will be a loss in quality.. Its called "Dropping Frames".. In order to make the file smaller.. === What I do is keep the BIT-Rate UP..and manage the TIME(ET) of the file.. So...I'll create part-1 and part-2 of a upload.. === YouTube only allows a 10-minute video.. But offer's up to a 1-GB File Size... Work in the 10-minute time frame/ ..consentrate on 720p..video editing..and I think you'll be good.
