What is a good digital camera under $300 that takes HQ video and pics?

    If you are looking for a dSLR, then the Canon EOS Rebel T1i or Nikon D90 or D5000 are good ones, they take HD video. For a point and shoot, the only one that I can recommend is the SX1 IS from Canon. I'm not familiar with other brands.
