which high quality point and shoot camera shoudl i buy...........which has DSLR photo quality... ive searched so many and now im just confused? nikon L120 but when i look at sample pictures theyre not so great any ohter which are 300 dollars or less so confuseddddddddddd

You are asking too much from a point and shoot. The main thing that creates the quality difference between a DSLR and a point and shoot is the size of the image sensor. No point and shoot has a sensor even close to the size of a DSLR.

There aren't any that's why professionals choose dslr cameras of very high technical quality and the rest of us who want the best we can afford buy dslr cameras - I use the Rebel line. Get it? There aren't any.
No need to be confused. I have the answer. The camera is only a tool. It is you, as the photographer, who dictates picture quality. It doesn't matter what camera you use as long as you know exactly what to do with it.

A dSLR has a sensor that is over 15 times larger than a P&S. They therefore perform better, especially in low-light.
