What the best WaterProof camera for an active person?

  • So I'm looking for a waterproof camera to use for picture and video. I like to jump off cliffs and from rocks so need something that's durable enough to take a tumble. It will also need to water resistant to 10m(33ft) because I snorkel a good bit. Most of my activities take place in sea water so the salt is another consideration. I'm not too bothered by price but don't wanna pay crazy prices. I've done a lil bit of research but there seems to be lots on the market, thinking Panasonics most recent might be my best bet. Anyone who has a WP camera and has advice I would appreicate it!

Fujifilm FinePix XP10 is a great camera. It is water resistant and it's really great for teenagers and if you're going on vacations. It takes clear pictures too not really blurry ones. It fits perfectly in my hand and the buttons are easy to press. It is very easy to get used to. :) I love it and it's my new favorite thing. People keep complaining about the camera, if you've had a sorta professional camera or more expensive camera before of course it's going to be different and not what you expected. You get what you pay for but in this case you get a little more than what you paid for. It is such a good camera.

Currently two really good waterproof cameras are in the market: Panasonic TS3 and Olmypus TG-810.

No matter what get a very well known name brand (Panasonic, Samsung, Sony, Olympus) and make SURE you READ and REREAD the directions it comes with it will tell you to do five thousand things after you have been in the water DO NOT feel tempted to skip over any of them and read them CAREFULLY.
