Can someone tell me step by step what i need to do or give me a link to something FREE i can download.

  • Answer:

Its not that it uses quicktime. The movies are saved as a .mov file (popularly associated with quicktime) You can use a converter or just change the file from .mov to .mpg You can also download the latest codec for moviemaker

Your camera is using Quicktime to make the movies. You need a convertor to change it to WMV. The one I downloaded free was WM Convertor from downloads.com
