Why are Honda's better than Fords?

Why do people not like fords but loves chevy's?

  • i think ford is way better than chevy. people always say fix or repair daily or found on road dead but fords are so relaible. all my fords have been great, but my chevys not so much. ford gets hated on continously. just wondering everyones opinion on why people think fords stink and chevys are so great.

Some people have brand loyalty. I've driven numerous Ford's and Chevy's. Bought a 2003 Silverado brand new that the speedo needle started "bouncing" after about 5 years. Chevy KNEW this was a common issue on the '98 and up trucks but wouldn't do anything about unless the truck had less than 70,000 miles. Electrical gremlins, faulty computer, blah, blah. Worst piece of junk I've ever owned. On the other hand, I had an 87 Silverado (350, auto, TBI, single cab) best truck I've ever been in or owned. Never an issue with it at all. Hated to sell it. Have a 07 F150 and have had no problems at all. I gotta say that I love my F150. Ford seemed to have trouble with quality back in the 80's and early 90's...now that seems to have migrated over to Government Motors. When Ford introduced the new Mustang, I loved it. Chevy revamped the Camaro to combat the Mustang and it's sales. Just like back in 67. The Camaro was designed to compete against the Mustang. I just think Ford has gotten better over the years and has listened to their potential buyers and what they want. Another story with the 03. Code after code would say I had a massive vacuum leak. Had the codes run and investigated what the code tripped for. Numerous dealerships said it was a known defective part. It goes right next to the fuel cell. I can't remember the name of the part. When I went in to get the "dealer only item" what they gave me was a cobbled together piece of crap that I would have to supply my own hose for (not a big deal) but that was it. Nothing but problems with that truck. No more Chevy's for me unless they're 40+ years old.

That is just your experience. I don't like Chevy trucks as much as the Fords as far as normal cars go they are about the same and I like the styling of the Camaro much more than the Mustang. I really wish they still made the GT40 or what ever they called the new one.

I know alot of people that love ford but hate chevy so it goes both ways..I personally hate chevy and love ford
