How to keep a good texting conversation going?

• So me and my girlfriend have been going out for a week, i can talk pretty well to her in person and keep a conversation going. But when i text her i am just like "hey what are you up to?" and we talk for like 10 minutes then the conversation just dies and shes like "i have to go...". We knew each other for about 2 weeks before i asked her out. And wed hang out for 4 hours a day monday- friday cause we have summer school together. Plus we hung out a few times out of school so i can talk pretty well in person. but like i said i suck at texting her, i can talk to my guy friends and some girls i know just fine because im not nervous about what they think of me probably. Please give me some tips to keep the conversation flowing for hours

  Well, the best way is to often ask questions that would keep the conversation flowing, but you dont want to seem like you are keeping up a conversation for absolutely no reason. I would suggest just calling her, I mean, if you talk to her better in person, chances are you would talk to her better over the phone rather than via text. Also, its often difficult to keep up a good text conversation - it usually depends on the subject at hand, so you need to either show you are interested or just dont talk about it. Also, I would highly recommend going out with her more - then you can talk to her better and get to know her. I also think you're worrying too much about these texts, they don't matter at all, they are just texts. Call her/see her in person, its much better in your situation. Good Luck!
