Should I ask her my ex to talk to get some closure?
-
Me and my ex had a bad breakup. Her ex came back in the picture and that screwed up everything. They never got back together but she talked to him behind my back and got feeling back for him and lost some for me. She left me hanging on saying stuff like "I want a break, I need some space to think etc." By leaving me hanging she actually hurt me more if she would of let me down easy. I told her all my feelings. She knows how I feel about her. She was always a little hesistant to open up to me. After the breakup I sent her a myspace message saying stuff like I think its best if we move on, I still have feeling for you but wish you the best etc. She responsed pretty much saying im sorry if I hurt you and I also wish you the best. This was back in January and our last contact with each other. We go to different high schools. We’re both 18 and seniors. I haven’t seen her in months. Our grade school carnival is coming up. She will be there. I will be there. We will see each other. Should I go up to her and say “C’mon lets get something to eat and have a talk…I want to clear the air” I don’t want to avoid her that’s childish. I just want to get some closure and see whats new with her. I don’t want to ask for her back or ask any awkward question or put her in an awkward situation. She currently has a boyfriend [different guy from the one above] and if she’s with him I won’t ask her to come talk, I’ll just say Hi. But he probably won’t be there. Should I ask her to come talk to me? What’s the good and bad that can happen?

Answer:
"After the breakup I sent her a myspace message" Never EVER try to resolve something over myspace. Thats just childish and stupid. Make small talk with her at the carnival. Whatever you do though, dont talk about your previous relationship with her. Feelings were lost. You broke up. There is nothing else that can be said. Try being her friend instead of trying to get her to like you again. If she thinks your going to try get back with her, then she is going to come to the conclusion that you are clingy and she will just push you away.
