Why can't I be a communist in America "the land of the free?

Dont you think land should be free?

  • When you think about it, the majority of our world works to pay their rent, or for a place to live, for shelter, for their own piece of land...but why? The land belongs to everyone equally, it does not belong to the governments or the banks, they didnt create it and although they may maintain it to some extent, does that give them priority to claim ownership on it and then sell it to us?. The land was created by nature, by GOD or whatever you would like to call it, but somehow we have found reasoning in being charged for what should be free. At the very least land should be free, we should be able to take our own resources, chop down trees to build a house on a free piece of land if we wish, and then we should be able to use that land to grow our own food and do whatever else we want with it. There is enough resources and land for everyone...all 6 billions of us, yet we continue to be little sheeple, thinking that money should be given in exchange for these things. There doesnt have to be homeless people, or people being evicted because the economy can't sustain itself and provide jobs. If an economy cant have jobs for ALL of its citizens, then what good is it? Everyone has the human right to have work, to be able to provide shelter and food on their table, it doesnt have to be about competition. Somehow we have become so arrogant, that we find logic in saying, well "everyone has equal opportunity to work", but some people just dont have the right skills. Society has those people that are just unfortunate, life isnt fair to everyone and sometimes people get a bad place in life...so its ok for people to suffer because of this? Sure you can walk with your head high, saying that you tried and made it, and have a comfortable income and blah blah blah, but there are lots of people who have tried, and some of them never make it...it doesnt make you better than them, and it doesnt mean they are less intelligent because of it. I know plenty of people with college educations, lots of them have no jobs, cant live decent lives, did they not try? They went to college for 4 years, it seems to me that they did try, and they tried to live by the rules of the system, but it just doesnt work for everyone. Its not only these people that dont have work, people with experience cant find work either, but oh well right? Lets just live in our self centered lives and not give a **** about anyone else right? Im just saying, that we continue to let our lives revolve around money, and we continue to let our governments fill the space with excuses as to why millions of americans must suffer because there is no work available for them. This isnt just america either, people suffer all over the world...mainly because we have let ourselves be controlled in ways that we shouldnt. How about everyone grow some balls and stand up to the corporations and these blood sucking politicians who run our governments. This may require a whole revolution by the people to make things happen, but isnt it worth it, this can fix the future for everyone, no more suffering, no more hunger...think about it. It is not up to politics to fix any problems, it it up to "the people" to change things by taking whatever necessary steps are needed, but we're all just a bunch of ******* scared to take a stand.

  • Answer:

Bahaha. Look up Soviet Russia. They had no private property and 100% employment rates. See how that worked out for them. Im sorry but why should a lazy person who spent all their money to feed their drug addiction be entitled to a home? I went to college for 6 years, got my masters degree and have worked hard every day of my life to get a nice home for myself and my family? Why is that wrong? And no, hhaving a job isnt a right. Its a privilege. You have to work for your privilege. If there is a lazy, incompetent worker, he doesnt deserve a job. If someone isnt willing to put in a solid days work so they can afford a roof over their head, then they obviously dont deserve a roof over their head. Your collectivist mentality would be the downfall of human civilization. Im sure you would call the cops right now if a homeless person walked into your house and started eating your food and slepeing in your bed. Because that's not your home apparently. That is gods home and everyone is entitled to it.

no as you would never be safe

You are dreaming. There is absolutely not enough good farmable land out there for all 6 billion people. What land is available is mostly all cut over, or semi desert. Try building a shack on 10 or 20 acres in Nevada or Northern Canada for that matter, and surviving on it. You would starve to death. The major problem in the world today or in the near future is overpopulation. What are we all doing about that? Not much. If we went back in time to 1800, you would be correct. We could just take up living on some available patch of land and probably survive on it. Not now.
