Why did Wheres my Refund change?

  • I checked Wheres my refund this morning and the site updated to now it says that my deposit is scheduled to be deposited on Jan 28th.If not there call IRs on Feb 2,2011.So i was happy!! I also called the phone hotline and it said the same thing. I went into Wheres MY refund a few minutes ago,which is about 5 hrs later,and its now saying when i checked that i must of entered the wrong info,try again. I did 2 times but no change?I know its right. I called the phone line and it says that my refund is scheduled to be deposited on the 28th. So WMR changed but not the phone? Why?

  • Answer:

    If you log into WMR to many times it will lock you out, and give you that message. If the phone still tells you its scheduled to be deposited Friday then it will be.

when did u file your taxes?

I'm not sure why that is happening but your not the only one that's happening to. I'm having the same issue. I called the irs and they still state the I will get my dd on jan 28th. I hope nothing changes.
