How do i start a petition in school?

  • Okay well my principal is following the advice of ONE teacher and is deciding to cut my school's Biomedical Sciences Program and among other science classes (Human Physiology, Human Anatomy etc.). The reason for the cutting of these classes has nothing to do with budget problems, it is purely a personal decision made by my principal. Many of the students and teachers do not want these classes to go. So my question is how can i start a petition to try to cutting of these courses. Also the rumor is that the cutting of the above courses is a result of my school needing more Biology teachers, but why dont they just hire more teachers? I mean we have enough classrooms. Please help, we dont want to see the classes go

Definetly get a petition paper signed by as many people as you can, and go before the school board with the paper and logically explain the benefits of keeping the programs going. It may be because with budget cuts they can't afford to higher new teachers. That appears to be kind of common place here lately.

just get a peace of paper and get people to sign it. it may work, it may not. either way, it is worth a try.
