Have there ever been any civilation where there were no lawyers? did ancient china have lawyers? or Incas?

i want to know, because if there are instances where society have functioned without them, then its possible to have a society without lawyers. lawyers in america have devolved into 'liars-for-hire'. the higher their price, the better they BS. if there are going to be reforms, or revolutions, or civil war, or whatever, then lets make the new government one without lawyers. we can look into history and see how society functioned without them, and adapt it to fit modern needs. lawyers do more bad then good nowadays. lets phase them out.

Answer:
If their are laws then there are those who interpret them, and argue them and try to use them for their own advantage....we call them lawyers.

Everyone hates lawyers... until they need one.
"The first thing we do, let's kill all the lawyers." - from "Henry the Sixth, Part 2" by William Shakespeare Just so you know, England's Henry VI reigned from 1422 to 1461 and again from 1470 to 1471. So people were sick of lawyers even back then. The Chinese civilization was run by lawyers! And yes, the Incas had them too. The reason is any civilization is going to have laws, and you need people to interpret and act upon those laws. In tribal cultures, this could be a council of elders, or some other informal leader as the laws weren't written down. But as laws became codified, you needed a profession that were experts in the law both to make sure they were coherent and didn't contradict each other, and to represent the two sides in any case that came before the court, criminal or civil. I am a bit confused by your unsupported claim that lawyers do more bad than good. You object to the criminal justice system? If you're discriminated against at work, or injured due to negligence, or a rich relative dies without a will, you don't want someone who has spent years studying that aspect of the law to help you? If the IRS announces you owe $283,000, payable now, you don't want a tax attorney to help you determine WTF they are talking about? Lawyers are a necessary part of a civilization.
I don't know if your trolling or just stupid. Lawyers do have a reputation yes, but you need someone in court to protect your rights who actually knows what the law is. What do you think they do? The world you want is one where people with lots of money can do whatever they want and rights are not protected. Do you live in america? The supreme court has made your life 1000 times better than it would be 200 years ago, so you can sit and complain about something you don't understand.
A substantial amount of my practice is on behalf of people who thought they'd save a buck and represent themselves. It costs them twice as much to get them out of the hole they've dug themselves into.
