Teens looking for jobs shouldnt they hire teens with better grades?

• I personally think when teens are looking for Jobs it should depend on their GRADES to see if they should get their job or not ... ( I'm 16) Lets say I wanted to work at the mall alot of teens wanted that job in that store or at dunkin donuts , They should hire the teen with the better grades because its harder for teens to get jobs now a days im 16 and looking for a summer job and I have A's and B's bthis kid in my class that never does any work and he wants a job ... Does he deserve the Job that I may want? He does no work in school but then gets pays over the summer?

  I think people should be empolyed due to their suitability. That does not just include grades, but I mean if you wanted to flip burgers in mc donalds not everybody knows how to cook, thats something grades can't tell you, unless you picked a subject like food tech.
