About allies and enemies?

• Ok, my friend told me that Russia has basically no allies, and that we (America) have more than half of the world as allies. So who is all of our allies and who are all not our allies? By the way, I am looking for just main countries, such as Britain, Switzerland, China, India, Australia, Mexico, Canada, Japan. You know the countries that are very strong and highly known in this world. I do not want countries such as Jabhudi.

  Interesting Question. First you must understand the difference between allies and buffer states. America has perhaps only 1 or 2 allies. Britain and Israel. Buffer states. Yes these are all over the world. Such as Australia, to protect against China, and South Africa to protect the trade routes. However, it should be noted, that these buffer states are fickle, they remain loyal to the worlds Hegemony. It used to be Britain but after WW2 became America, Perhaps soon this will change, as with the new economic climate China is already calling for a change in the world currency from the IMF. As for Russia, Eastern European countries still have affiliations such as Latvia as 78% are decedents of Russians. They also form a security alliance with China and Japan. Although not an ally, it is similar to the of a defensive pact. If attacked they will united blah blah blah. America does not have this as it relies on its buffer states and NATO. Can talk for ever about it but that's that in a nutshell lol
