Do royal mail class france as EU- uk for posting?

• I am in the middle of filling in a royal mail claims compensation form for an item that i sent to france. The problem ia over the xmas period i have Sent quite a few parcels therefore i am strugging to indentify which reciept is my france missing parcel reciept to send with the form as proof of posting. I have looked at all my reciepts but none of them state france in the destination section. I was wondering whether due to france being in the eu if this section stated uk eu. As all my receipts state this in the destination section. Going on the date i sent the item i thought i knew which one it was but this one states destination uk eu and it states standard parcel 2 nd class. Does anyone know if would still state uk eu as the destination or should it state something else and would it still be classed as standard parcel 2nd class or should it state that it was posted by another method if it was going to france. I would have thought airmail but i cannot find a receipt that states airmail or france as destination and i am normally good at keeping reciepts so i wiuld have thought that i would have saved it , in case such event happened as it has. I hole you understand my question. I know it is long winded but i have tried to explain it the best way that i can Thanks .

  It will state where it is going, the only thing you can do is go back to where you posted it with your receipts and go through them with the clerk there. Go in as soon as they open, as it gets busy after 10.30 and the clerk will not be able to give you the time you need with out pressure.
