How long does it take to get a va disability rating?

• I live in Oklahoma and i got out of the marine corps in June 2009. i was a .50 cal gunner in Iraq and Afghanistan and i was hit with a rocket propelled grenade. i went to all the doctors appointment's and it's been about 6 months now and i call the 1800 # they said it was in rating's and that was about 2 months ago. OH and i read other post's about claims and everybody was talking about having a Representative for them and i don't think i have one. i filed my claim by myself if anyone can help please do thank you

  I don't know, but I see this question posted at least once a week, why don't you check the answers from others who have posted the exact same questions. Just go to Ask again, type in this question, you will see all the other questions that match it, and you can open them back up, read the answers and in fact get your answer to this question. I think people are getting tired of answering the same question every week, hence, the reason yours hasn't been answered yet.
