  • Answer:

Well since your 19 your legally a adult and you could stay in the U.S . Just talk to your parents explain to them its better for you to stay here. Your education is important to you. I've been in that situation before just talk to them and everything is going to work out fine.

Convince us why you want to stay in the USA. Why is this the country for you?

You're 20. Legally, you are a man and your parents have no say over you. So then there is the personal issue. Most parents do not want to see their children leave. That is a sign of good parents and good children IMO. However, at some point you have to "leave the nest." It's just a matter of telling your parents "I am a man and this is what I am doing". There's probably going to be yelling, crying, etc. but that's life.

If you are an American citizen, and over the age of 18 there is nothing stopping you from staying in the U.S. if you want to. Your parents cannot make you go to Bolivia. You'll just need to find work and support yourself - it doesn't seem like there is any legal reason you would have to leave.

your parents first

You are an American citizen and of legal age. Find yourself a place to live. Find a job that will support you wish them all the best for their future lives in Bolivia. If you don't want to go start making provisions to become self sufficient. Give up any dependency on your parents in order to pursue your dream of staying here and being the American you are.
