If you agree capitalism is bad for America then what would you replace it with and why?

I cant wait for someone on the left to answer this one

The truth is..... Capitalism leads inexorably to corruption and power abuse. And the scary part is.... Once you get power hungry, dictatorial minded people in charge, you can't stop them. The only thing that could replace it without losing ALL of your rights would be a society of self governed people. We as humans are not advanced enough mentally or spiritually to handle such a concept. So in short... We're screwed!

Nobody has ever said that. The right wing radio dummies have said that someone said that, and Fox 'News' has said someone has said that, and the entire chain of command of the current GOP/Tea/Fox/Jesus freak party has said that someone said that....but in real life.....sorry, bro...nobody has said that! What has been said is that trans national corporations, corporations that already own, operate, influence and control in one way or another ALL of the world's commerce are sucking the life OUT of positive capitalism. Corporate capitalism is a vampire that's sucked the blood out of the 95% of us that work for hourly wages....and that's what this is all about! 'Capitalism' may have 'built this country', but it was labor of the 'working class'...those that work for hourly wages...that have done all the hard work that went into the 'building'. For thirty years after WW2 the working class was well rewarded....since the 1980's the working class has been systematically robbed. If that wasn't the case there never would have been the 99%, or for that matter the 1%. As far as taxes are concerned, corporations and business in general use the tax system to 'pass through' most of their taxes and the 1% make most of their money on capital gains...a 15% bite...less than the hourly worker pays. As for creating jobs? Sure...but not here in the United States. They've created a lot of work in Communist China...a country with no labor unrest that isn't quashed by the police, no environmental laws that need be obeyed and series of under the table 'fees' and bribes to communist officials instead of taxes. So what should we replace this rotting corpse with? How about AMERICAN corporations that pay wages that track basic expenses? How about Universal HEALTH INSURANCE that's affordable and covers ALL Americans? How about a world class education system from grade school through the university level that doesn't leave students tens of thousand of dollars in debt? How about decent retirement for the elderly...the folks that spend a lifetime toting the barges and lifting the bales, not to mention fighting in all the wars and in the end paying all the taxes? We used to have a growing middle class in this country AND corporations made billions of dollars in profits in profits for their investors and stockholders. Billions with a 'B'! Taxes were 'high', but this country had the best social and physical infrastructure in the world in return for those taxes. Now most of that is gone. I'd like to to see the person who posted this 'question' defend corporate capitalism with an argument that didn't parrot all of that GOP/Tea/Fox/Jesus freak party bull #$%# about how the 'commies' are taking over. People are in the streets for a reason...it might be a good idea to listen to them!

replace capitalism with communism otherwise in the future our world would turn out to be like the world of the hunger games.
