Why can't I be a communist in America "the land of the free?

America, land of the free or the land of incarceration?

The United States has 751 people in prison or jail for every 100,000 in population. (If you count only adults, one in 100 Americans is locked up.) So is America the land of the free, or the land of incarceration?

Great question. Our nation is now a police state. We have given up our rights to a criminal congress who put into law the Military Commission Act of 2006 "The Patriot Act". The prisoners in America are in its infant state just wait and see. Look into the FEMA camps across America and look into the stats behind the work prisoners do for American business, I believe 90% of paint in USA is made by prisoner/slave labor, 80% of military factories use slave /prisoner labor. Its really evil. Land of the free.....what a joke. I remember reading about McCathyism in the 50s when you were persecuted if you had any left wing leanings or that little pervert J Edgar Hoover who hounded people for their beliefs and even loud mouthed homosexuals even though he was one himself. You can die in the street due to the lack of health care or float dead in the streets of New Orleans because most victims were black. You have a better chance of being shot than an Afghan because you can buy a gun with your shopping at Walmart. No......I will take less freedom and my NHS health system and a meal on a regular basis.

yep. it's the result of a privatized prison industry that has lots of lobbyists. also the result of arcane drug laws that make no sense. we're broke - time to legalize at least some drugs so we can stop wasting money on room and board for pot smokers.
