What skateboard brand should I get?

What deck (skateboard) should last me a long time and what brand should i get?

  • i'v been thinking on getting a new deck since my deathwish snapped! but i can't decide! i'v tried already having a girl deck, i had loads of fun with it but it din't last me long. my choices are Girl again, REAL, SkateMental, Cliché or Deathwish again. but my plan was to get the SkateMental board of Brad Staba the Alien vs. Preditor. and i just want to know which deck brand would last longer and that has the same pop every time i would skate it?

    all name brand decks are the same, they are manufactured in the same factories. no one is poppier or longer-lasting than the next. its all luck in how well and long it will perform for you.

A good brand for durability if- that's what you're looking for- would be Almost. They have a great deck called the Almost double impact deck which is specially designed to be strong but still is loaded with pop! They are about 90 dollars (60 pounds) and are made out of a carbon top sheet, carbon disks and ultralight 6 ply, very lightweight and durable! Hope this helps!

There is no difference between them all. Sure one might have supposed 'lighter wheels' or a 'stronger deck'. But essentially, there's no difference in the long run. As long as you can skate it, you're good to go.
