What is the best sports knee brace?
-
I'm 14 and i tore my meniscus about 5 weeks ago in a cheerleading accident. (I'm a back and my flyer fell on my knee out of an arabesque and the bases didnt catch her.) After being on crutches for 4 weeks now im off and I'm going into soccer season. Im only going to tryout and sit out for the first month of the season but i need to know which sports brace is the best for my condition. I was thinking something by shock doctor something like this ,http://www.shockdoctor.com/product/ultra-knee-support-with-bilateral-hinges.aspx.

Answer:
You probably want an advanced or elite brace. If you want one with hinges, I would suggest the McDavid Pro Stabiliser. If you don't think you need quite so much support, I would go with the Neo-G Stabilised Open Knee Support. Have a look at this site for more info on both these braces, including user reviews.
