How to ollie on moving skateboard?

  • I am a first-time skateboarder and I know how to ride and ollie standing still but just can't combine the two for some reason. When I start riding w/my feet in ollie position I lose balance quickly, do I adjust them to be that way while I'm riding? If not, how do I ollie while moving and keeping my balance; is there any special method of doing it? Im really confused so any help would be appreciated :) thanks

  • Answer:

When riding, be sure to.ride.on smooth, flat ground. maybe your garage or alley. look at your feet. back foot needs to be half on and half off the tail and fron foot on front 2 screws, so u can see the.other 2. Then, ollie normally, but keep staring at your feet. make sure nothing is.in the way of the.direction your moving. hope this helped!

well you gotta test out some speeds and find a comfortable speed then you pop the tail with your back foot then slide your front foot up to around the bolts to level it out

if you can ollie standin still you just need to get use to doin it movin. try puttin your front foot up a little more so the ollie wont be as high and just work your way up. i found it helped me once i started bein able to land them rollin to start tryin them over things and gradually increase the height.
