  For beginners, choosing a skateboard could be a problem.  There are no specific brands that produce the best skateboards for beginners, but at the same time, not all skateboards are alike.  In choosing your skateboard, there are a few things you need to consider: your purpose, your age, and your budget.  Let’s discuss them one by one. Your age.  People can start skateboarding at a very early age of 6 (should be supervised by an adult or a trustworthy adolescent according to the American Academy of Pediatrics) or even in your old age for as long as you can handle the board.  The size of the skateboard that you will get will also depend on your age group.  Young skateboarders aging 6-10 years probably won’t be able to handle long decks as older skateboarders would, hence, should choose a smaller sized board.  You can try standing on different boards to get the size that you feel most comfortable with.
