How do Japanese write the date?

How to write a date in time? Like "13/03/10"?

  • Lately I've been noticing more and more dates like "25/06/10" or "16/09/09". Well, I don't understand it: is it a new way to write a date, or do they write dates that way in other contries, such as Canada? Thanks!

  • Answer:

The US is the only country that puts the month first

Usually, the 13 would be the day, 03 would be month and 10 would be like 2010, the year.
