How do I set up somewhere for people to donate money online?

I know this is stupid, and people will probably say no, but can you donate money?

  • So my dad's 20th high school anniversary is in Las Vegas on the 8th of August. We don't have the money for him to go...it's 268$ for a roundtrip flight. There's some people he went to high school with he's been trying to find for years...he really wants to go so he can maybe find them. I know this is dumb, but I see how badly he wants to go, and it makes me really sad that he probably won't be going. I mean, he's never been to any of his high school anniversaries and this is the TWENTIETH....there's so many people he wants to see. I see how his face lights up when he talks about going and it pretty much makes me want to cry :/ so....can anyone donate money? I know some people will say I'm stupid for posting this, and most people won't donate, but even a little bit of money can help.... reply if you'd be willing thanks so much, for even reading this

You're thoughtful to want to help your dad but must every body is struggling to get by right now.

$268 isn't that much. have a lemonade stand or something like that.

Sorry, I'm broke too. BUT, have you considered alternate forms of transportation? Try Greyhound, Amtrak, or even renting a hybrid car and driving. I bet you could find a different way of getting there! And instead of a hotel, stay in a hostel, or a privately owned small motel that's $25 a night. There's ways to travel cheaply! You just have to research it.

What happens in Vegas... Maybe you should pursue a slightly more virtuous cause if your asking people to make it their problem and reach in their pockets.
