Has anyone ever used an anti-theft gel that shows up only in blacklight? Does it work?

Yes it works, the gel reacts in UV light, which is what a blacklight technically is. UV can't be seen by the naked eye, but the gel refracts it, so you'll see a purplish glow off it. If you're going to use it, I'd advise testing it first, since you'll need to be discreet to find out if your workmate is using it.
Of course it works!
