Why are people on my TV greenish?

Why do people yell at the TV, telling the people on TV to do something even if they know they can't hear it?

  • My parents, aunts, and uncles often yell at the people on TV trying to tell them to do something. I'm pretty sure they know that the people on TV can't hear them. It annoys me that I have to hear them trying to yell at the people on TV so often. I'm fine with those people who yell comments like "WHAT THE HELL?", "COME ON!", "OH MY GOD!", and stuff like that. But I'm really annoyed with people who say "PICK THIS, PICK THAT" or " DO THIS" and so forth. So I'm just curious: Why would they still yell at the people on TV to tell them to do something, even though they know that the people on TV can't hear them? I tried asking them, but they refused to answer. >.>

  • Answer:

All humans at some point or another like to inflict thier own opinion on some one else, we always think we are right. During a sporting event, we get caught up in the game and we yell as if we are attending the event live in person. Other shows like HGTV were the person has to decide on 1 of 3 houses, causes most people again to yell cause they can't understand the persons thinking why they like this or that cause they are not them and its fustrating, so we yell.

of course they can hear us if we can hear them its science

Probably for the same reason semi drivers yell and swear in the CB radio at someone, knowing full well the party being yelled at does not have a radio to hear it.
