Why do people find light skin or mixed people more " better looking " than a dark skin person?

I don't think that at all. I am a white mom with a darker skinned black daughter and I think she is stunning! I think it's sad but probably true what you are saying :(

Generally, most people are attracted to features they're familiar too, people who look similar to themselves and their family. For example, it's often noted that a lot of guys tend to look for the same qualities in girls that their mother or sister shares. Dark skinned people are more likely preferred by other dark skinned people, and of other races of course, just not as many. But they are just as beautiful as anyone else just in a different way. You can't help instincts and who you're attracted to, however, discriminating and putting someone down for it is a different scenario, that's just plain racism and arrogance.

Some men are just mean and hateful.. they will hurt others based off their own mindset. Alot of people, im sorry to admit me too, just find lighter skinned people more attractive. Another reason could be that dark-skin is a sterotype-symbol for ghetto-trash. I think you know where to go from there...

Not all mix people come out pretty. Do you think T.I wife Tiny is pretty...? She is light skin she look like her mom (White). Light skin is prefer is almost every culture. Tiger woods mix and he came out funny looking.

I am not racist, prejudiced or any of that nasty stuff, but I am realistic. Everyone has different preferences, and every ethnicity seems to have more prominent features. Darker skin also seems to camoflauge facial features more often than accentuate them. I personally find darker skin beautiful, but it is very different than I'm used to, being raised in a predominantly white area. It throws me off, not in a bad way, but I'm just more exposed to one ethnicity with similar features, and that becomes the norm, and I'm more inclined to immidiately think "Oh, they're beautiful" as opposed to other ethnicities where I need to actually look and see before I form an opinion. Also, not go kick a dead horse, but the media does seem to play a part in this as well. The Beyonce's and Rihanna's(sp?) are very out numbered by angelina Jolie's and Megan Fox's. Sorry if it doesn't make much sense, but I tried.
