Is architecture a good career choice?

Can you give me some career advice? Please?

• Okay so Im really interested in fashion, but I dont have the courage to go for it knowing that the numbers of fashion designers needed out there is really just a few. It is a hard job. I've kind of gave up on that already since no one agrees with me on that too. So, my other interest is in ARCHITECTURE. But, here is the problem, I kept on hearing that architects are paid very little but at the same time they need to do a lot of hard hard hard work? Is that true? Plus, the economy isnt really good and quite a lot of architects are unemployed? Those really make me in doubt whether if I should pursue architecture in the future? Another career choice I have is DENTISTRY. But, I dont really see myself doing that. I am really scared of blood. I just take this as an option as I heard that dentists are high in demand now, and they get paid a lot? But Im not really sure if I can handle all the blood and kept looking in somebody's mouth all the time? What do you think I should go for? Im really scared, this makes me depressed everyday, Im leaving high school next year and going into college. Please dont tell me to go with my interest, because I myself know for sure that I wont ever have the courage to go into fashion. Or is there any other career choice you could suggest?

  Don't panic you have your whole life to mess things up LOL. I have a list of sites that do walk through questionnaires that help people find what they will really like doing, I wish I had had such a thing when I was your age, I would have gone into a completely different direction to the one I did. You have plenty of time to figure what suits you, and you may find as you leave Uni that there are jobs out there you have never heard of, I didn't know about Advertising copywriters until about 18 years ago, and 2 of these tests suggested that as my perfect occupation ? Don't worry about the country of origin, the point is that they are there to concentrate your mind on what suits you and what you like.
