Why is the world kid the most used insult on the net today?

• it's kind of amusing yet kind of sad that a troll can't come up with anything better i post "wicked song" on the song "hangover" and i get "get a life kid" hit level 85 in wow "get a life kid" love communism "get a life kid" (before you debate that look at america's economy, socialism as such in cuba or china is starting to look pretty good right about now, that's just my opinion belittling me is pointless, a debate could be fun, is it just some people are lacking in intelligence or what?) me, i'm 19 what i don't get is why someone would throw a word like that around so lightly, he doesn't know my age he just assumes over the internet, and vice versa for all i know the person who threw the insult is a kid himself i couldn't possibly know which is why i'd never say it - stupid perhaps; but never "kid" that just seems silly, someone explain this to me please one time i met a net troll in real life and you should have seen him shake it was adorable :3 (bisexual here, yo) i'm 6'4 and no one ever calls me a kid face to face or even tries to mess with me, regardless of the fact i'm harmless; but how could they possibly know what? less inclined to trash talk in the real world where there's actual consequences, trolls are so kawaii :3 (in real life on the cyber web ... they're just annoying)

  I was under the impression that it was 'fag.' Or '**********.' Or something else that implied being gay was a horrible thing and that you yourself were gay, and therefore awful.
