Please help! What will they do to us?

  • Dont judge us. You don't know us. We refuse to take money from our parents that are barely getting by; we cant get jobs and the one my sis has is only covering gas and accounts she has to pay off; im not old enough for a job yet. Keep this in my mind; and no these arent excuses it's the truth; if i was rich i wouldnt have to do this; and i wouldnt but im not. My sister and i got caught stealing toothbrush paste or wisps or something at the freaking dollar tree and the lady got her id number and said next time she'd call the cops and told us not to go there. They let us leave and we left but my sis's flipping out. What will they do to us other than that? someone i used to know got caught somewhere but they let her go; idk if we're that lucky tho; we wont do it again; we'll just have to not have things for a while until i can get a job but anyone with this kind of exsperience or knows someone thats been in a situation like this; can you tell us what they might do? Thnx it's appreciated.

If you do go there again, and are caught stealing, then the most they will do is take you to the Police station for one night, or less, and just ask you why. You might get a warning, or a fine. If you explain to them your family situation, then that night help them understand your motives. I hope your family gets through, these are tough times we're living in. Best of luck :)
