I really want to be a social worker and work with child abuse, and really help kids , and hopefully one day adopt a bunch of kids. So how is it being a social worker? **And also I don't care about not getting that much money, all i care about is helping people especially kids.

Answer:
i hope u realize that social workers are there to help the parents as well. help them keep their kids and work with the system, many children get taken away w/o much reason but fear of the case worker getting a slap on the wrist. I suggest u read case studies and stories online from case workers in major areas -cities like NY, Chicago, etc. Laws differ as well. maybe u shoudl consider early developmental ppsychology- that'sa hot field nowadays and u work with children up to like 7 yrs old
