What career should I choose?

PLEASE CHOOSE A CAREER FOR ME!!! (I DON'T CARE WHAT YOU CHOOSE!)?

  • I truly need help, I am in desparation!!!!! I have gone everywhere asking for advice and I am throwing my God forsaken hands up in the air because I am clueless. So I am honestly leaving my future in the hands of strangers because I don't know what else to do. I am posting this question again because I didn't get enough answers when I posted it the first time. I am double majoring in English and art (though I honestly don't care for art). I love to write, analyze, and critique things and ideas. I am very horrible at math, but I like plants and beauty. I love helping others, yet traveling and learning new things. One thing I am sure I will NOT do is be a teacher. That is the only thing I am positive of. Please choose a career for me, any career. It doesn't even have to match my degree. If the career you suggest doesn't require a degree, I don't mind. If it requires more years of school, I don't mind either. I AM FREAKING OUT! I WILL SERIOUSLY FOLLOW ANYONE'S ADVICE! SERIOUSLY!!!! O_O

I was going to pay you out..and answer ' old peoples **** wiper' or something, but after reading the rest- i realised you are pretty much me! And Im 30! why dont you be a freelance writer, look it up online, you can submit articles on anything and get paid. I dont have many answers for you because every day is a struggle to know what that 'one' is. All I can say is do what intrests you now as its not forever and you cant connect the dots backwards. You will use what you do in the mean time somewhere later. Photographer? Real estate photographer.

Buy a fleet of fishing boats and take clients out deep sea fishing. All you do besides drive is teach them how to reel them in and bait the hooks.

Join the army, become an MP. Or go work at Mcdonalds.

You can always work in the media, with music and magazine and tv companies. English and art is a good way to begin on that line. If you put your mind down to it, you will manage anything. You can be whatever you want to be - dont ask strangers to choose for you. Just believe in yourself and do something you will enjoy. Good luck! :) X
