How do I get in the Christmas spirit?

Christmas has always been my favorite holiday. But this year, I can't seem to get in the Christmas spirit. I've tried EVERYTHING. I saw Santa at the mall, watched Christmas movies, drank hot chocolate, sang and listened to christmas carols. No joke, I've tried everything. There's no snow on the ground, and I think that might be why. But with or without snow, how can you get in the Christmas spirit before it's Christmas eve! Please answer soon!!

Well, I certainly don't know how to tell you how to get into the spirit of Christmas, but I think I know the cause. As we grow older, Christmas becomes less exciting. Don't you agree that as a child you enjoyed it more? I know that I'm not as attatched to Christmas as I used to be, but I still enjoy being with family.

You can't really learn how to get into the Christmas spirit. It's something you just feel. Maybe you won't feel the spirit until a day before. Plus, sometimes the feeling kind of fades depending on the person. Don't worry and don't freak out too much. It's normal! Good luck!

You have to want it. I gave my Soldiers a Christmas in Iraq. They where surprised and happy. If I can get it in a combat zone, then you can too.
