Difference between Neuroscience and Neurobiology?

What universities offer the best neuroscience/neurobiology courses?

  • I want to become a neurologist and I want to go to the best school that offers what I need to become one (of course, universities that are affordable to humans. I can't afford Johns Hopkins, and I already know that it's the top school to go to). I know i need to go to an accredited school - that's not what i'm asking. I'm a junior in high school looking for actual university suggestions. P.S. what courses are better to take to become a neurologist: premed with neurobiology as a minor, or neuroscience?

  • Answer:

University of Minnesota - Twin Cities is known for their medical program and preparing students to go on to medical school. Also, you can't major in Pre-Med, you can only put a focus on it. I would know, I'm a Pre-Med student. So just tell your advisor when you actually get to school you want a focus on Pre-Med and they'll know what to do. Your major should be Neurobiology.
