What do I have to do to become a Physiotherapist in Canada?

Should I become a physiotherapist or a doctor?

• I am determined to become something in the health field, to help others. I originally wanted to become a physiotherapist, because my physiotherapist was amazing and she told me all about it and she really helped me physically and emotionally through hard times with my ankle, and she really inspired me, and I would love to do that for someone else when I'm older. But I'm also having surgery in a few months, and I'm fascinated by what surgery can do, and it would be amazing if I was a surgeon, but you have to go through med school, and then specialize. I'm currently doing my GCSE's, and I'm more a B student than an A, but I'm determind to do well. Would becoming a physiotherapist be more realistic for me? I could potentially be an A/A* student but I don't always put enough work in to reach my full potential. I'm so interested by both of these, n I really want to become one of these. Which would be more realistic in your opinion?? Any advice? Thankss

  doctors have longer school, harder classes. while you may or not choose to pursue becoming a doctor, it is difficult. the studying, etc. you have to decide what you believe is best for you. the 36 hours on, 12 hours off required by all (that I have heard about) medical schools/hospitals to prove you can take the pressure before you finish everything you need (intern?). if you can do well as a person at hour 35.5 then you can do well in a normal paced environment.
