What is the daily life as a Physician's Assistant like?

To be a Physicians assistant?!?

  • Would i need to go to a special Physicians assistant school. If so would it hurt if i got a bach. degree in premed or biology. Even if the school im going to doesn't have a specific Physicians assistant program. I can take that schooling once ive graduated with my 4 year?! Right!

  • Answer:

The profession is Physician Assistant (not Physicians). If applying to a Bachelor's level PA program you will not need a degree only the prerequisites. These courses can usually be done in 2-3 yrs as a full time student. If applying to a Master's level PA program you will need a bachelor's degree. This can be in any area that interests you as long as you also fulfill all prerequisite courses. There is no such thing as a bachelors in premed! Go to college, take all prerequisite courses, fulfill the volunteer/ work experience requirement for application to PA school and then apply to PA school. Good luck!
