How hard is it to be a doctor?

How hard is it to become a family doctor?

  • Here are my questions: 1. How hard is it? (I get straight A's and I'm smart) 2. How would I afford it? (I don't come from a rich family and don't have much money) 3. How long would it take? 4. How much does it pay? Keep in mind I said Family Doctor not Surgeon like some people think I mean.. Thank You!

  • Answer:

On a scale of 1 to 10; going to med school is a 10. It takes being smart but many other traits & factors as well. YOu would take out loans like everyone. Med school is 4 years after a bachelors degree, and a 3 year residency in family practice. Medical income is dependent on a great many factors, but FP should make around 120K, plus or minus a bit.

straight as are good it quite hard once you have finished in college you have to do interships in hospital no matter what field you are entering takes about nine years to train you could afford it with student loans or scholarship programs like everyone pay dependent on where you set up lets just say its very good and leave it at that although it does pay very well, it is a vocation and people don't do it for the money.

historical
