How hard is it to be a doctor?

How hard is it to become a Doctor?

• I am fixing to go to school to be an LPN, and later on after a couple of years become an RN. My sister thinks I am destined to be a failure, but I want to become an LPN not only to prove her wrong, but because I want to be in the medical field. But, I got to thinking about maybe being more than just a nurse, what about becoming a doctor? How hard is school to be a doctor? Would experience in Nursing help me to become a doctor? Or what about stay in nursing and become a Nurse Practitioner? Would I be able to work my way up from LPN to RN to NP? I just need some advice, I want to help people and that is why I want to be in the medical field. I am twenty, so I am good and young and can be taught many things!!
